Family-friendly: V Cafe

A cafe in the CBD area with games to keep young children occupied while you enjoy a cuppa

There are a lot of restaurants with great food along Keong Saik Road, but it's not easy to find parking in the area, and not all the eateries there are spacious or child-friendly. My husband and I were having lunch in the area on a weekday with my daughter in tow, and decided to find a place to get coffee after a sumptuous meal. We came across several bars and there were only a handful cafes. Some are rather small and we decided on V cafe after checking out the various options on that street.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout. V cafe is furnished rather simply, but still cosy and colourful. There's also Bingsu available on top of your usual coffee and cakes options. Free wifi is available on site. I was very happy to find that there were some games available which certainly proved very useful in keeping my daughter occupied while we enjoyed our coffee. We each ordered a Mocha which was priced at $5.10. Rather cheap for cafe standards these days!

If you happen to be in the area lunching with friends and have your little ones in tow, I would certainly recommend you to check out V Cafe for an post-lunch coffee break!
