A fun and affordable family getaway at Port Dickson
June holidays are coming! The children cheer and the mommies groan. Time to plan for meaningful activities to keep those kiddos occupied, or burn a hole in our pocket for a family vacation.
If you are looking for an affordable family getaway without paying hefty airfares, Lexis Hibiscus at Port Dickson is a great place to go!
We booked the half-board package from the hotel website. It was RM1820 for executive pool villa, inclusive of 2 breakfast buffet and 2 dinner buffet for 2 adults each.
Thankfully for us, our children are still young enough to eat for free! So buffet options are awesome!
This is the lift lobby outside Umi Japanese restaurant where we had our dinner buffet on the first night.
Dinner starts at 630pm and we were one of the first guests to arrive. There was a great variety of food selection including a salad bar, sushi, sashimi, tempura, cooked dishes and also shabu-shabu dishes where there are 2 common pots for you to cook your own choices.
My 5yo had fun cooking his own food at the shabu section, and finished 3 servings of chawanmushi on his own!
My boys posing right outside our villa before we took a leisurely stroll to the main tower for dinner.
As much as we enjoyed the view along the way, we were very thankful to be picked up mid-way, by a buggy heading to the main tower!
There are two common pools in front of the main tower
View of the beach from level 2 of the main tower.
Ahhhh. Clear blue skies, sea breeze, yummy food and fun time with family -- what more can I ask for?
Oh, the spa that I missed? It was RM80 for a 60-minute foot reflexology with head and shoulder massage.
I wanted to go when my daughter was taking her afternoon nap, but decided to bring the boys to the beach instead because there was simply too much to do and too little time!
